24 Oct. 1999 Having caught Pete leaving Amy s Jenny throws him out and orders him to take his things. Adam is shocked to discover that he has testicular cancer but when he tells Jenny and Pete it makes them see how well off they are and they decide to give their marriage another try. Adam has a successful operation for his cancer, after which he gets back with a sympathetic Rachel, whilst David s handsome younger brother Nick comes to stay at the Marsdens house.
