Takedown Trailer

Takedown was a made for television movie, written and directed by Michael Mann, which he eventually remade into the feature film, Heat, released six years later, in 1995. The movie features a number of actors that were utilized in various episodes of Miami Vice, including Scott Plank ( Red Tape ), Ely Pouget ( Junk Love ), Richard Chaves ( Theresa ), Peter Dobson ( The Lost Madonna ), Xander Berkeley ( Like a Hurricane and Victims of Circumstance ), Juan Fernandez ( Borrasca ), CaryHiroyuki Tagawa ( The Rising Sun of Death and Asian Cut ) and Daniel Villarreal ( Miami Squeeze ). Takedown was made for and originally aired on NBC on Sunday, August 27, 1989. The movie was rumored to be a pilot for a new television series, but it never materialized.
