Spider Man: The Animated Series (season 5, episode 8)

The return of HydroMan: part 2 Release date: 103197 Plot: Mary Jane has been revealed to have new found waterbased powers like HydroMan. SpiderMan follows HydroMan to an underwater lab, where he discovers that a scientist, Miles Warren, has used his controversial cloning technology to create this new HydroMan. He is even more shocked to learn that Warren then used a drop from HydroMan to clone Mary Jane. It turns out both clones are unstable and perish. Madame Web appears and takes SpiderMan to face a test.
