Zakk Sabbath The Wizard Drum Cover Trey B

In my continuing series of I cant play like Bill Ward to save my ass is a drum cover of The Wizard originally written by Black Sabbath. I went with the Zakk Sabbath version because as stated above, I just cant play like Bill Ward (and I have tried repeatedly). In the cover, Id love to say I had some planned out attack of using fills from all the different versions Ive heard but honestly, I didnt. Ive played this in a variety of ways over the years so there is a nod to the original obviously, the Speak Of The Devil version and the, ZakkWylde version. It just comes out different every time I do it. This song has gone that way for me forever. Id like to dedicate it to my friend Pat Bareis in Louisville. While he is a musician and a singer, he s just been my friend for many years in and out of music (and my respect for him is in and out of music as he s given back to his community, helped kids and raised a wonderful family).
