Fire Float Takes A Ride (1932)
Full title reads: London. Fire Float takes a ride New Fire Launch capable of pumping 1, 000 gallons a minute conveyed by road to North of London. A boat travels slowly towards the side of the river. It is a very simple craft no cabin, just a wheel and a pump visible on the top deck. The fire launch is tied up a the dock. The name plaque Merryweather. London can be read on its stern. The boat is attached to a crane and is lifted out of the water. It turns as it is lifted. The boat is lowered onto the trailer of a large lorry. The lorry (from Ltd. ) drives out between two buildings carrying the boat on its trailer. A man is standing on the rear of the trailer turning a wheel to assist in the steering.
