Walking It (1929)
M, S of three girls speaking to George Cummings the famous walker he is telling them the correct way to walk. He stands on one leg with the toe of his other foot in the air. He shows them how to move their arms when walking. The ladies are Madge Elliott, Dorothy Langley and another friend from Love Lies a stage play. L, S of the girls standing on an athletic track (they wear ordinary day clothes and cloche hats. ) George sets off on a power walk. He turns back to the girls and shows them how to put their best feet forward. The others laugh at their friend. It s a great thing to be able to keep on walking these days and where could you find a better tutor L, S of the group of four striding out together. Various shots including one from a very low angle a worms eye view. Their feet come very close to the camera. L, S of them racing the girls have to run to keep up with George s fast walk.
