There needs to be a referendum on UKs net zero plan
Reform UK leader Richard Tice says UK Prime Minister Boris Johnsons net zero plan needs a referendum. It comes amid rising concerns within the UK over the push for net zero leading to soaring living prices. Mr Johnson unveiled plans to drive down carbon emissions, including measures to replace gas boilers with low carbon alternatives. It is indeed very cold here in the UK as we approach winter, and the costs are absolutely huge, were talking about if you have to replace your boiler with something called a heat pump, it could be a cost of 1520, 000 pounds sterling just to install it, Mr Tice told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
