Camera Interviews Billy Bennett Almost A Gentleman (1927)
An intertitle tells us that Billy Bennett (who is almost a gentleman ) is seen leaving his Club (shot missing). Intertitle reads: He likes the best of everything all the best restaurants know him as a man of We see Billy Bennett emerging from a fish and chip shop. Signs on the windows advertise Fish Suppers and Fish Dinners. Billy wears a top hat and a sort of caped coat. He is shaking vinegar on to his chips. A man and a woman come out after him the man (who apparently works in the chip shop) takes the vinegar off him. The woman stands by Billy s side eating her chips. C, U of the comedy duo eating their chips from newspaper. Billy has a large fake moustache and the woman wears geeky round glasses and a funny hat. They look a bit grumpy and Billy chucks one of his chips on the ground. They walk off together.
