Magnum Quarantine Conversations: Chris Steele Perkins Jean Gaumy

The ongoing COVID19 crisis has resulted in most Magnum photographers being restricted in their movements. As part of a broader photographerled response, a new series, Quarantine Conversations, will see Magnum photographers in frank, and unedited dialogues about work, current affairs, and everything inbetween. The pairings for these conversations will be made by lottery, and this latest installment sees Chris SteelePerkins direct questions to Jean Gaumy. Chris and Jean discuss writing, their path to photography, projects related to the COVID19 pandemic, the concerned photographer and the purpose of Magnum.
