Burning Drum Solo Workout On My Classic Slingerland Drums Ken Loomer

These are my classic 1970 Slingerland Buddy Rich drum set which are now over 50 years old. I still use them all the time with my Ken Loomer Big Band. I love to just sit down on that canister throne and play on these Slingerland drums doing a big open type of burning drum solo. I just make up whatever comes to my mind and just trying out new ideas during this drum workout. Drummers like Buddy Rich, Jeff Hamilton, Joe Morello, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Elvin Jones, Sonny Payne, and Gene Krupa would do these type of open drum solo. I want my solo to be fresh, exciting, and having a good time playing it. Ken Loomer
