The Adventures Of Bud And Susie The Kids Find Candys Catching (1921)

Animation featuring the characters Bud and Susie. A chef is stretching dough and throwing it against a tree. Bud and Susie (two children) watch. They walk home and Susie throws Bud up in the air and he does a somersault. Bud goes into a bedroom where a cat is sleeping in a strange cot. He wakes the cat up (she is not happy looks a bit like a female Felix). She puts some clothes on. The cat calls out All s Well, Susie is mixing something in a bowl. Mother in a rocking chair looks through a keyhole, sees Susie and laughs. Susie samples her mixture. She tiptoes into the kitchen and knocks on the sugar barrel. Bud is inside. He pours a cup of sugar into her mixture. She gets some of her mixture out of the bowl and swings it around on the end of a stick so that it spells the word Susie. Mother looks through the keyhole again and sees Bud getting out of the sugar barrel. The cat goes into the lounge. Bud gets excited about the sweet mixture and starts salivating.
