Cough Assist Routine, Spinal Muscular Atrophy ( SMA)

This is how we use the Cough Assist machine during the daily respiratory treatments for our daughter, Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn is 5yearsold and has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1. This is Gwendolyn Strong. Gwendolyn has spinal muscular atrophy, SMA, which impacts her muscles and the ability to walk, crawl, stand, sit up, eat, speak, breathe, and swallow without assistance.
