Cate Blanchett s brilliant cameo in the Australian TV series Rake S03E03 as an alcoholic lesbian lawyer. Costarring Elizabeth Debicki who also acted alongside Blanchett in Jean Genet s play The Maids. Cate s an old friend and I ve worked with her a lot. .. we just thought it would be hilarious if she would turn up in the guise of a harddrinking, lesbian version of Cleaver Greene, in the film within the film.
