Eric Lilliebridge Meet prep bench training 475lbs x 5 585lbs x 2 Slingshot
This was my 2nd heavy training session on Bench for this meet prep cycle. On my light weeks in between the heavy weeks, I m basically just practicing light paused reps and working on speed. I m trying out new in this meet prep cycle, overloading with the Slingshot after my main bench work instead of the boards like I used to. Then after that, doing a couple drop sets close grip to failure or close to it. So far it seems to be working good for me. Felt a lot better on this heavy Bench day than I did 2 weeks
