Bodycam Shows Phoenix Cop Shooting Suspect Armed With a Knife

(Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Phoenix, Arizona On November 11, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p. m., Phoenix police officers responded to a business in the area of 4300 West Camelback Road reference an attempted armed robbery. The victim advised that the suspect was armed with a knife and had attempted to take his property while waiting for the bus. The suspect was described as a male wearing a blue shirt. The first officer arrived on scene and observed a male walking around the parking lot armed with a knife. The officer began to give the suspect verbal commands to drop the knife. The suspect refused to drop the knife and continuously moved toward the officer. The officer fired at the suspect, injuring his leg.
