haka

The All Black Haka is a traditional Maori dance. A Haka was traditionally performed before charging into battle. In 1888 the first Haka was performed by a New Zeland rugby team in Britain. The All Black Haka involves loud chanting, aggressive body movements and fierce facial expressions; it is seen as a challenge thrown down by the All Black to their opponents on the field.
