Russian Jammers Make HIMARS Miss Targets On Ukraine Battlefield
According to multiple sources, Russia has been consistently blocking USmade mobile rocket systems in Ukraine. Electronic jammers are being used by the Russians to confuse the GPSguided targeting system of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System or called HIMARS, causing it to miss its targets. The US has reportedly assisted Ukraine in finding workarounds to continue using the HIMARS. However, the extensive blocking has made the systems less and less effective, forcing the US and Ukrainian authorities to investigate ways to modify the HIMARS software to counter the Russians evolving jamming efforts.
