Ian Walker is perhaps the only British sailor who has been to and succeeded in every type of professional racing and has set up several records in the navigation of offshore sailing. No other sailors in this country if not in the world, has a wider, more diverse experience in their entire sailing career. After 25 years of sailing, Ian made a dramatic change from 200foot superyacht to a 10square meter office room. As he picked up the wheel to drive the British Sailing Team to become the best sailing nation in the world. Since October 2017, he works as the Director of Racing in the Royal Yachting Associationthe governing body of sailing in the UK.
