YYZ Bass Cover HD

Happy Birthday to Geddy Lee who was born on this day in 1953. YYZ, by Rush, off of their album, Moving Pictures, which came out in 1981. I got into Rush within my first few years of picking up the bass, nearly 40 years ago, and Ive been with them (and Geddy) ever since. It was a great ride and I consider the countless hours Ive spent scrutinizing his bass lines over those many years to have been an incredible gift. I wanted to do something a little different for my redo of this song. My friend, Hayley, put together a bassless backing track from the individual isolated tracks I had laying around. That is what I am playing along with. My friend, Roland, mixed my bass and synced my track with the video. I recorded my bass as a separate track instead of going directly to the camera as I usually do. My intention was for this track to be a bit more produced than my videos normally are.
