Brayden Erbacher Tragically Died While Competing

About 11 a. m. on Sunday, Brayden Erbacher, 20, of Ipswich, Queensland, was competing in Wonthaggi, Victoria when he fell while launching off a jump and was struck by another rider. The young rider s brilliant performance was lost despite receiving immediate medical attention for a severe head injury. He was pronounced dead moments later. The tragedy happened in front of hundreds of horrified spectators and the rest of the day s ProMX Championship events involving elite competitors from across the country were cancelled.
