Paul Becker: Arietta, 2004
This piece is another viewer submission and a small neoBaroque da capoArietta which Paul composed with the beautiful oboe pieces of Marcello et al. in mind. In my opinion this is beautiful small Arie, with a good flow, nice melodies and convincing major section at the end. (transition) The composer was born in 1960 in the Netherlands but has been living in Sweden for almost 40 years now. He has been composing music since his early twenties and three of his compositions have been performed at public concerts, among others a piece for oboe and string orchestra, anAve Mariafor soprano, cello and organ, as well as a short piano piece.
