Franklin Franklin Sees the Big Picture, Franklin Figure Skates
Franklin Sees the Big Picture The library is celebrating Bookfest with huge outdoor banners displaying images of Woodland residents holding their favorite books. Franklin is mortified to see an old picture of himself on Granny s lap, reading a book for toddlers. He promptly hides the banner but later realizes how disappointed Granny will be if it s not on display. Franklin and Bear go to great lengths to try and hang the banner in a prominent place. Franklin Figure Skates Franklin is reluctant to admit to his hockey team that he can t skate backwards. When Beaver finds out, she strikes up a deal with him; if Franklin will help her practice her figure skating routine, she ll teach him to skate backwards. Later, Franklin s ability to skate backwards is put to the test when he fills in for Beaver s injured partner at a figure skating show.
