Is Facebook censoring certain posts and hashtags about, Palestine, like videos taken in the aftermath of the raid on, AlAqsa Former executive Ashraf Zeitoon thinks so and that the Israeli government has been pushing the company to do it. Facebook blamed technical issues in their content management system. However, Zeitoon, who helped Facebook design the policies used to moderate content in the Middle East, says that the companys team is capable enough to distinguish between posts about the AlAqsa Mosque and posts about the armed group known as the alAqsa Martyrs Brigades. In 2016, YouTube, ,Facebook and Google deleted 95 of the content Israel requested they remove from platforms.
