49 Nigerian Women Kidnapped by Boko Haram were Freed RT Documentary
49 Nigerian women kidnapped by Boko Haram were freed after a state official paid a ransom for their release. Their freedom cost 1 million naira (1, 300). Boko Haram militants have been killing and abducting farmers in Nigeria and, Chad, Niger and Cameroon for years. If not murdered, the victims experience the most inhumane treatment. The subject of our documentary, Fatima, was taken prisoner by the group. She was used as a sex slave, but managed to escape. Her story is in the video, and our documentary, Hunting Boko Haram (2018).
