Swimming With A Huge Snapping Turtle
This snapping turtle came for the fish remnants that were left near the dock. This is a remote lake in Parry Sound. Although we think we have seen him around the dock and swimming area for many years, this is the first time we have tried swimming with him and hand feeding him. He was incredibly relaxed about the whole thing. This is a large, male snapping turtle that weighs approximately 20 pounds.
