Needle Tatting: Catherine Wheel Join

This is how I do Catherine Wheel joins when needle tatting. It s a twoneedle technique. I like to call it the Sewn Technique, because it feels like I m sewing the join into place. Catherine Wheel joins are a great way to outline a piece of tatting with one continuous chain, which makes a smooth line, rather than the scalloped edge a border of standard chains joins would create.
