If your line is too tight or short, you won t have enough time to finish your rotation before reaching the bottom of the bounce. The chest roll is usually started from a buttbounce to chestbounce. The main difference in the chestbounce is that your leg remains off the line until the bottom of the bounce. When you are nearing the bottom of the bounce, you wrap your lower leg under the line and begin to lock the toeside of your foot over the line. At the very bottom of the bounce, pull your toes towards your knee and lock in by slightly extending your leg.
