Shingled A Cutting Little Episode In One Act (1924)
Intertitle reads: After the bobbed the shingled hair vogue (And M. Emile showed us how it s done in Paris and London). A woman with very long hair sits at a dressing table. M. Emile cuts the bulk of her hair off in two fell swoops. He then puts a towel around the woman s shoulders and combs and cuts the hair which remains. C, U of the technique. Intertitle reads: Shingling does not injure the hair it strengthens it and generally adds a becoming touch to those fair ladies who decide to sacrifice tresses temporarily to fashion. M. Emile combs the hair whilst the woman admires her new look in the mirror. He takes away the towel and we see the finished style.
