Heavy Fretless Rock Bass with Jack Irons on Drums

Heres a fun heavy fretless bass jam with the mighty Jack Irons Hes the founding drummer of RHCP and former member of Pearl Jam and Eleven. Weve been recording some music and thought itd be fun to shoot videos jamming to each others grooves, heres an experimental rock tune we came up with Im playing my fretless Cortex bass and used 5 pedals in this take: a Seamoon FX Grind Machine overdrive and Octatron octaver, a Walrus Audio D1 Delay, a Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor and a Rodenberg 707b clean booster. Im using Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, Monster Bass cables, and recorded with my Eich T1000 amps DI into a Focusrite Scarlett into my laptop. Im stepping the pedals realtime and didnt use any plugins or post processing. I mixed my take and Jacks drum mixdown in Cubase and mastered it with Ozone.
