Otis Maeve, Take What I Can Get (+ S3)

I ve been rooting for Otis and Maeve since the beginning and it s clear to me that they both have had feelings for each other since then. With all the curve balls the writers keep throwing at them, I was happy because we like slowburn, right But somehow, in season 3, it felt like they tried to push them apart so hard. A lot of the things they did were so out of character. Like, how could Maeve be so cold to Otis coming back to school (even not having heard the voice message) and how Otis never even tried to clear up his feelings with her before he started with Ruby It just felt like they tried so hard to push them apart and make them cold with each other, when they have been crazy about each other for SO LONG I was so pissed. We eventually get to the confessing scene and it s EVERYTHING and more (obvious
