Fatemeh Norouzi Karizi says she was born over a century ago on September 23, 1899, in Irans northeastern city of Torbate Jam, where she lives with her son. While she is old enough to have greatgreat grandchildren, the pandemic has prevented frequent family visits. As the centenarian suffers from many health conditions, family members only see her once every few months.
