Cinesound Various shots show survivors of ships the Triatic and the Rangatani that were sunk in the Pacific by German warships; we see them on a ship returning to a Northern Australian port. We see a group of bearded men (sailors ) pose with thumbsup; several women and children; a man with a small boy and two dogs (one of whom we are told had six pups in the excitement); two young boys, one with his leg in plaster after a German shell exploded under their cabin. Australian men (waterside workers) give a cheer to welcome the survivors as the ship comes in. The passengers come down the gangplank.
