Making a Wildlife Thumbstick
When its just too wet to get out with the camera or the lights rubbish instead of editing all those photos get in the workshop and make yourself a great addition to your photography a good number of years now one of my hobbies has been making walking sticks. I use them all the time when I m out walking my dogs but also take one when I m checking out new photo locations. Theyre a great asset to stop you going on your backside, aid ascending steep woodland inclines or even resting your camera on when a shot presents itself. In this film I show you how I make a natural thumbstick from start to finish and then finally paint a Roe deer hind onto it from one of my own photos.
