Rubber Masks (1968)

Chessington, Surrey. A person wearing King Kong mask is looking in the mirror. Man, Mr Dyke Richens, takes the mask off and corrects the eye colour with a small brush. He makes rubber masks as a hobby. Monkey s head sculpture is the first stage of the mask making. One has to be a good sculptor to be able to make a good mask. Mr Richens is seen sculpting the head which is further used as a mould onto which rubber is poured to shape a mask. Mr Richens is seen cutting the excess rubber around the ears. Camera shows many finished masks hanging on the walls of a workshop it would be fun having some of them. Film finishes with Mr Richens doing finishing touches on monkey s head and trying it on.
