Class Demo: Head Structure

Instructor Demo from Week 2 of the Winter 2011 Head Drawing Class. The topic is the key structures of the head: 1. Browbone 2. Cheekbone 3. Jawbone and how to accurately measure and state these key structures to get a strong likeness and silhouette. This early stage of head drawing is the foundation of of a solid head drawing. This structural approach trains students to simplify the head into basic forms and to see the major planes. This
