Yanagawa Tachibanatei Ohana is the former residence of the Tachibana family, a clan of feudal lords during the Sengoku and Edo periods. Its garden, the Shotoen, was designated as a national site of natural beauty, where there are about 280 pine trees that have been standing for 200 to 300 years.
