Guinea pigs talk almost nonstop using a range of different sounds. They dont even stop when they are eating one of their favourite foods like fresh green grass. Each sound is distinct and conveys a specific message like back off or an emotion like happy. Sounds include wheeking, chattering, chutting, rumbling, purring, and chirping. Not only are guinea pigs cute, but also their sounds. The Farm at 64 raises money for the charity Porridge and Rice, an education charity supporting education in the slums of Nairobi, home to some of the poorest people in the world.
