Beauty of Veronique, The Double Life Of Veronique (1991)
The Double Life of Veronique is a film that I would definitely not recommend to every one, since I believe that many would characterize it as nondynamic, confusing, vague. The film is without a lot of dialogue, and the narrative is mostly internal and leaves the viewer to interpret the events that take place around the characters and within them. However, if your eye is eager for aesthetics and you have a ninetiesnostalgia, this film is a real pleasure. The music of composer Zbigniew Preisner is on a very deep level as well. What inspired me the most in the movie is the way the beauty of the actress Irena Jacob Veronica is presented. Her beauty is shown in a completely natural way without fatality, seduction, and intrusive ecstasy. Completely natural, completely clean. I reduced the selected scenes to 2 and a half minutes, but who wants more, should look Film The Double Life Of Veronique (1991) by Krzysztof Kieslowski. Music: Zbigniew Preisner. Actress: Irène Jacob.
