How Flat Is Your Table Saw Top

In this video I talk about aluminum extrusions and table saw tops. My General 350 cast iron table saw top appears flat but it s not. The two points I make in this video are: 1) A table saw top is not a precision measuring device. 2) 100 flatness and 100 straightness is difficult to achieve. Perhaps my General table saw was flatter in the past. But after 20 plus years of hard use it s had some wear.
