80 Hours in Guyana, South Americas Hidden Nation
Thanks to Expedia Group for sponsoring this story Check out their One Key program: My last visit to Guyana (back in 2016) was not enjoyable, to say the least. I vividly remember my hotel receptionist locking the door at 7pm and saying that I couldnt leave because it was too dangerous But back then, I was young and naive, so I decided to give it another chance with new perspectives. And this time around was a lot more enjoyable Not only did I get to fully enjoy the street markets and tasty cuisine of Georgetown (the capital), but I also got to head down into the Amazon to meet an indigenous tribe and go hunting for anacondas at night I hope you learned a thing or two about the only Englishspeaking nation in South America, and I would love to hear from you in the comments down below. Seriously I read every single comment and your feedback is greatly appreciated so I can continue to improve the way I tell stories , Guyana, tr
