Britains newest MXGP star: Factory Yamahas Ben Watson

He ended the 2020 MX2 GP season with wins on his factory 250 Yamaha. Now he s had the callup to the MXGP class for the official Yamaha team and he s started his career in stunning form. Ben Watson took on fourtimes world champ Jeffrey Herlings at the sandy Lyng circuit in the British championship and both riders shared a win and a second after some incredible racing in front of a sellout crowd, limited to 4000 due to the pandemic. We caught up with him after that race to see how the talented Brit is getting ready for his MXGP debut.
