Al Bird Dirt Lost Home Recordings (1999 2009)
I made my first home recordings as a kid. At age 17 I became Al Bird Dirt, selfproclaimed 1kidkombo, circuit bender and trash rocker. Soon I started to play electro punk shows, heavy on the overdrive, to bemused audiences in my hometown of Vienna. Missing my tones, demolishing my gear on stage, making a jackass out of myself. Again and At home I continued to record offkey songs in an outdated livetotape fashion. Hundreds of them littering my flat with shoe boxes full of audio cassettes. It was about time to dust those little fuckers and give them a hug. Al Bird Dirt, August 2016. Used gear on this cassette (as recalled): Ace Tone Rhythm FR3, Bontempi MS40, Casio MT68, Casio PT30, Casio RAP1, Casiotone 401, CRB Diamond 729, Farfisa TK80, Farfisa VIP202R, GEM Caravan, GEM Rodeo 37, Hing Hon EK210, Technics SXK250, Vermona ER9, Yamaha PS30, Yamaha PSS280, Yamaha PSS380 and a variety of noname audio toys.
