Helen Frankenthaler (Nueva York, 12 de diciembre de 1928 Darien, Connecticut, 27 de diciembre de 2011)1 fue una pintora expresionista abstracta estadounidense. Recibió la influencia de la obra de Jackson Pollock y de Clement Greenberg con quien también se vio involucrada en el Movimiento de Arte Abstracto de 19461960.
