Alphaville: Forever Young Perfect Mix

What an amazing 80 s tunes. The 7 is perfect as it is. There is already a 12 dance mix if you want it funked up. What I wanted to do was add a little bit to the length without altering the 7 mix as to do so would be too distracting. I therefore needed to figure out a way of doing so without damaging the feel of the song. I lengthened the intro using segments of an instrumental mix found on YouTube. It wasn t an official mix; someone had essentially removed the vocal track using some kind of software. I also used a snippet of the extended mix and overlaid some of the original 7 mix. To lengthen the ending I incorporated a segment of a recent symphonic release. This was originally released in 1984. The ending vocals are from 2020. The song contains singer Marian Gold s vocals aged 30 and 68; singing a song called Forever Young
