Translating the Readings of the Quran (with Dr. Marijn van Putten)
Following their wideranging and wellreceived discussion last year on Muslims and NonMuslims Studying the Quran Dr. Sohaib Saeed of Ibn Ashur Centre sits down again with Dr. Marijn van Putten of Leiden University to explore one area in more detail: the variant readings of the Quran and their implications for meaning and translation. This is based on a joint paper they presented at the IQSA meeting in Palermo, Sicily, in September 2022.
