The documentary follows the group on their 2015 sold out North American tour. Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, Pentatonix has sold more than 2 million albums in the U. S. alone and amassed nearly 1 billion views on their YouTube channel with more than 8. 1 million subscribers. Their latest holiday album Thats Christmas To Me sold more than 1. 1 million copies in the U. S., becoming one of only four acts to release a platinum album in 2014. In February 2015, the group received their first GRAMMY Award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental and A Cappella for their Daft Punk medley. In May, Pentatonix made their film debut in Pitch Perfect 2 and will hit the road with Kelly Clarkson in July.
