Blind Girl
There is a new patient in the hospital. She awakens to sense that something is not right, here eyes are covered. Feeling the bandages, she tries to remove them but is stopped by a nurse. Confused, the nurse explains that she was in an accident received damage to her optical nerves. The nurse calms her as she panics only time will tell if the damage is permanent. When the bandages are finally removed, it is apparent that her life has been forever changed. To prevent further damage to the eyes, the nurse covers them with patches. Dejected, the patient holds out hope that her sight will still return. The nurse, however, begins the instruct the patient on how to go about living in her new state. She learns how to walk and navigate both by feel and with a cane. After extensive practice at this in the hospital, the day comes when must face the outside world.
