Anonymous Skull s third offering, release simultaneously with Cursing the Crimson Fog, sees this elusive entity almost completely dropping off of Black Metal elements to focus on a more Dungeon Synth approach. Although still maintaining some elements of Deathrock and PostPunk, this release is a terrific showcase of the projects creativeenergy and inventiveness, with some excellent compositions and many varied tones and elements, from the rustic percussions to various samples, that really set this release apart in a genre that is plagued with mediocrity and lack of attention to details.
