BBC Proms 2014 Beethoven Mozart
Prom 23: Mozart Requiem 8. 00pm, Royal Albert Hall Donald Runnicles and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra are joined by the National Youth Choir of Scotland for a performance of Mozarts everpopular Requiem the composers powerful and prescient anticipation of his own death. The concert also features Beethovens elegant Fourth Symphony and the London premiere of John McLeods The Sun Dances, inspired by a Scottish folk legend.
