Orthodox Easter, Pascha Family Vlog 2019 Enter the Joy Miss Justina Marie
Come along as I share with you another family vlog, this time a look into our faith and cultural traditions for Orthodox Easter, which we call Pascha. Easter, or Pascha, for Orthodox Christians, is the most important day of the entire year. It is the feast of feasts The holiest day of holy days The day when Christ descended into hades, shattered its gates, and annihilated hell. It is the day when Christ rose from the dead, trampled down death by His death, and through His death on the Cross gave everlasting life to us all. For Orthodox Christians, even Orthodox Christian children, Easter has nothing to do with the Easter bunny and we dont even say Happy Easter to one another. Instead, we loudly proclaim the Paschal greeting CHRIST IS RISEN INDEED, HE IS RISEN on Easter Sunday and for the 40 days after Pascha.
